Is it better to hire a tree service, or DIY trimming?
I'm looking at doing some tree trimming in my yard this spring and wondering if I should just hire a professional or try to tackle it myself. A couple of the smaller trees just need a bit of shaping and some dead branches removed but there is one quite large tree that might need more extensive work. I'm reasonably handy and have done some basic gardening, but I'm also aware that tree work can be dangerous. Has anyone got any thoughts or guidance on when to DIY versus when to call in the experts?
