I spent years treating my laptop like a piece of evidence in a court case, constantly scrubbing my traces after visiting porn. Last week, I just realized how much mental space that "cleanup" was occupying. I’m an adult with a career and a mortgage; why am I treating a normal interest like a teenage transgression? I’ve stopped the frantic clearing, and honestly, the sky didn't fall. It’s been a massive relief to just own my digital life without the constant "secret agent" anxiety. Has anyone else reached that milestone where you just stopped apologizing for being a human being?

Just passing through the "General" board while looking for some reviews on lightweight trekking poles for a trip to the Alps. It’s always fascinating to see how digital culture is evolving toward more transparency. I’ve always believed that life is too short to carry around unnecessary baggage, whether it’s in your backpack or in your head. It seems like a lot of you are finding a lot of peace by just being honest about your habits. I’m heading back to the gear reviews now, but I enjoyed the candid discussion. Hope everyone has a great, stress-free weekend!
